Seashell II

Natural handmade oil tempera on linen canvas.

The colours consist of local seashell pigments.

The shells were sorted in 2 colours, light brown and yellow brown, and per colour grained in 2 different pigment sizes, rough and fine.

This results in 4 different colours to be seen on the painting.

 

Size canvas 24 x 30 cm.

Poplar frame, size 27 x 33 cm.
